First, we would like to state the almost obvious... The new Solace album 'A.D'. is still not finished, and the April release date that we had originally hoped for is most likely not in the cards at this point. Just don't shoot the messenger. One of these days, the vocals will finally get tracked and then we can all move forward.
On a more postive note, Sasquatch will be heading to Boston's Mad Oak Studios at the end of February to record their third album which is tentatively titled "III". What could be more original then that? (we had suggested they call it "4" to really mess with some heads, but they rejected our clever idea)... Anyway, the crack engineering team of Riggs & Grotto ( which also sounds like a Law firm for some strange reason) will be manning the boards and we are all very excited to hear the final outcome. Sometimes you just know it is going to be sweet, and this is one of those times.
Next up on the release schedule are the new albums from Valis & Los Natas. Both of these are currently getting mastered at Baseline Audio Labs via Chris Goosman and his audio geek squad, and will be sent out to the plant shortly thereafter.
Lastly, we will have some new goodies for you next week @ the Small Stone Online Store. Both of the new albums from Sons Of Otis & Giant Brain will be available in the cd format, heavy and arty, not a bad combo. We will also have Dozer's classic stars logo t-shirt design available for the the first time ever outside of Sweden and whatever merch table the band happen to be schilling them from. The shirts are army green with a red and white print and look very sharp. Time to get those credit cards out. See, we are doing our part to help get the economy moving again. Now it's your move!
