Happy New Year and welcome back to the daily grind. We have a few new things worth mentioning, so here goes.
First, Stu and his A Thousand Knives Of Fire band will be heading out on the road later this month. The new ATKOF cd is at the plant and should be around here sometime in early February. We were hoping to have it a little sooner, but it did not work out that way.
We also have just recieved some copies of the very limited vinyl pressing of Five Horse Johnson's The No. 6 Dance. The fine folks of GMR in Sweden made only 500 of these for you to consume and we got our hands on 50 of them. You know what to do. They will go fast.
Next, we have decided to right a wrong so to speak... The boys at Mad Oak Studios are currently remixing Dixie Witch's One Bird, Two Stones album, so the lo-fi version that you all have will become an out of print collectors item, and the hi-fi, soon to be version will be the one that you all need. We Should have One Bird, Two Stones (version 2.0) ready for you sometime this spring.
Finally, We have confirmed our yearly mission down to the SXSW Music Festival. The Small Stone Showcase @ SXSW 2008 will take place on Friday March, 14th at The Room 710 in Austin, TX - (512) 476-0997.
